Club World Cup Promos - Groups to R16

The FIFA Club World Cup featured 32 teams from 20 countries, playing across the US, in 12 locations. 
To introduce the cities and the countries that the teams are from, to a wide audience, a suite of assets was worked up.
These utilised a playful, collage style, loosely referencing old postcards and Americana.
The cityscapes played on the fame and landmarks of each location.
For the teams, nicknames, players fan groups were settled on, in the shape of the country of origin’s flag.
The promos were cut daily, running through to the quarter finals.
The modular approach of the elements enabled consistency and quick turnarounds in a hectic tournament environment.
